Financing Options

We’re pleased to offer our patients CareCredit®, North America’s most popular healthcare payment program. CareCredit is a financial credit resource for healthcare services, including dental care. CareCredit offers a variety of payment plans for healthcare services that are not typically covered by insurance. Plus, you can use your CareCredit card for follow-up appointments. Learn more by visiting CareCredit.com or contacting our friendly team.

Sunbit is one of our favorite payment plan partners. Sunbit offers generous funding for patients with even fairly poor credit scores and their eligibility process is very quick and easy. We are very glad that we can look towards Sunbit to provide payment plans when no other partners will. See how much you qualify by hitting the icon above or call our clinic for a free Financial Consultation.

Finance with CherryWe’ve partnered with Cherry so you can split big treatment costs into smaller monthly payments. Ask our staff for more information or simply apply through our application link. No hard credit check.

If CareCredit is not your thing, we are pleased to offer our patients with their most similar rival, LendingClub: Patient Solutions. LendingClub application is a very simple, in-office process with instantaneous response. With the same 0% interest rate options as CareCredit and only needing one signature to get everything going, we are sure you’ll find them just as simple as us.

Proceed Finance is our go-to partner for our largest cases. Originally offering medical funding payment plans, they’ve branched out to offer to our dental patients as well. To facilitate the largest cases, Proceed Finance payment plans can go as long as five to ten years to make sure you can afford the monthly rates. We’re very lucky to have them as our partner.

Are you surprised to see them make this list? MACU is a partner that needs no introduction. As a locally known and well established credit union, MACU has partnered with Pinecrest Dental to give you generous funding, no down-payment application, and consistently some of the best rates. We are very pleased to be able to offer their services to our patients.

Eve Financing is our newest payment plan partner to date! Eve’s rates are some of the most fair and lowest. They work just like a credit card, but without the typical credit card rates. Eve also always offers no-interest periods and they’re super easy to work with for both our patients and us. As a fairly new group, Eve will only get better and we want to be right there with them throughout their progress.

We offer In-House payment plans! Although our rates are far from being the best, we make up for it with an eligibility system not dependant on your credit score and payment plans with no impact to your credit. We have our own approval system largely based on one’s employment consistency, financial habits, and background check. With all of our partners including ourselves, it is almost guaranteed that we can get you an offer.

Dental Insurance: Why Doesn’t My Plan Pay for This? FAQ’S:

Q: Why doesn’t my insurance cover all the costs for my dental treatment?

A: Dental insurance isn’t really insurance at all. It is a pre-paid benefit, typically provided by an employer, to help employees pay for routine dental treatment. Dental insurance is great for basic coverage such as x-rays, exams, cleanings and some cavity fillings and tooth removal. However, most plans are only designed to cover a portion of the total cost and rarely cover the best quality of care that our patients like you need.

Q: If I always have to pay out-of-pocket, what good is my insurance?

A: Even a benefit that does not cover a large portion of the cost, it will reduce your out-of-pocket expenses. It is very helpful for basic care, such as x-rays, exams, professional cleanings and limited services such as fillings and removal of broken teeth, but it rarely covers the full care most of our patients desire. The great news is we are very experienced and are able to work out financial arrangements or payment plans that work best for you.

Q: If my insurance won’t pay for this treatment, why should I have it done?

A: Don’t let benefits be your sole consideration when you make decisions about dental treatment. People who have lost their teeth often say that they would pay any amount of money to get them back. Your smile, facial attractiveness, ability to chew and enjoy food, overall health, and general sense of well-being are dependent upon your teeth.

Q: Why is there an annual maximum on what my plan will pay?

A: Maximums limit what a carrier has to cover each year. Dental plans are different from medical plans, in that dentistry is needed frequently. Medical emergencies are rare. In the 1960’s dental insurance covered 5 crowns per year, yet today plans usually cover only 1 crown per year.

Q: What should I do if my insurance doesn’t pay for treatment I think should be covered?

A: As your dental professional(s), we will always recommend the best treatment for you, regardless of a specific plan’s benefit. However, we will always provide you with a best estimate prior to starting treatment. Sometimes a plan will pay better if patients send in claims for themselves, or if the Employee Benefits Coordinator where patients work steps in. As a paying client you have more leverage with your insurance company than we do as a provider. We are more than happy to provide you copies of what you need to work directly with your carrier.

Q: But my plan says that my exams and other procedure are covered 100 percent!

A: That 100 percent is usually what the insurance carrier allows as payment toward a procedure, not what dental offices actually charge. However, the allowed payment or “UCR” typically represents a list of payment amounts negotiated between your employer and the insurance company. An employer usually selects a plan with a list of payments that corresponds to its desired premium cost per month. Therefore, there may be a portion not covered by your benefit plan.
