New Year (Food) Recovery!
Posted Jan 13, 2020.

I've always been amazed at logistics. For under 60 cents you can get a piece of mail or an important letter across the country, in under three days. We have many patients who work for either UPS, FedEx, the postal service or long haul and short haul trucking. We thank all of you for helping us get the supplies, groceries, and household items. We need your service to keep our lives running just like our homes need constant restocking and shopping lists checked off.
In a similar fashion, your mouth needs constant nourishment and a constant supply of nutrients to stay healthy? Here are a few quick tips on some things you can do this new year to keep your smile bright and healthy:
- Keep floss stocked in your medicine cabinet and an extra one in your car or briefcase or purse.
- Use a tongue scraper every morning. If you need a spare, we have some here at the office, simply give us a call or drop by and snag one.
- Make sure fresh vegetables and fruits are on your weekly shopping lists because the natural fibers and vitamins found in these foods not only keep your body strong, but help naturally clean your teeth as you eat.
- Replace the head on your electric brush every three to six months. If you purchased an electric brush from us, you are automatically enrolled in our free brush head replacement program and you can pick one up at your next preventative dental visit.
Have a safe, healthy January as you recover from all the delicious sweets from the holidays. (Now I think I’ll go floss again and go to they gym again for some extra calorie burn!)
Happy New Year to You!
