Where Most People Miss Out...
Posted Feb 12, 2020.
I love to work out. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not posing to be a super-workout-junkie. I just love the feeling of exercise and how it clears my mind and helps me feel better about everything in life. One of my favorite Christmas gifts ever are my AirPods my wife gave me, because of how much I love to listen to books and podcasts while I bike or go to the gym. I typically exercise 5-6 days per week, but some of my workouts are just 30 minutes.
When you work out beneficial hormones are released into your body, memory is strengthened, and stress is reduced (and reduced stress is GREAT for making your teeth last longer so that you don't grind them away).
Recently I ran across this quick video from the British Heart Foundation that I though may be of interest to you.
Whenever I travel, I try to fit a few workouts in. This makes me feel a little better because I usually eat more desserts than I should when travelling, so I need the extra calorie burn! I’m always amazed at how empty hotel fitness centers are. They are usually very basic, and only have a few machines, but even 15 or 20 minutes for the average person can go a long way. Maybe many people feel that vacation is their time off from exercise, but I feel it is actually a way to help me rest and relax better - plus I’m a nerd and that’s how I listen to lots of books, authors and podcasts that I follow.
So I’m interested to know, do you exercise while on vacation? (Oh, and I just have to ask, do you still brush and floss while on vacation?!?)
Just a few minutes of exercise today will help you stay positive through the winter season! We are on the home stretch, just a few more weeks until Spring starts to peek it’s head out.
By the way, this month, we are giving away 2 Lower Bowl Utah Jazz tickets with a concessions gift card when you refer a new friend or family member to us. You can see the details here:
Have a fantastic weekend!
