Tyler Williams, DDS
Dr. Tyler Williams is a full-time practicing dentist and the founder of Pinecrest Dental and Better Sleep SLC. He is a proud husband and father of three great kids.
Dr. Williams’ patients travel from around the state, and as far as Alaska to Wyoming to join his practice in Taylorsville, UT. He has completed thousands of dental implant, Biomimetic, and restorative procedures. He has written numerous articles for the Utah Dental Association, and is the author of a two consumer books, Reason to Smile: 11 Keys to Your Best Oral Health Ever, and The Consumer’s Guide to Dental Implants: 3 Keys Every Adult Needs to Know About a Smile Transformation, which can be found at major bookstores and on Amazon.com.
Dr. Williams has been selected as a Top Dentist in Utah by the International Association of Dentists, and spotlighted in the renowned publication, Leading Physicians of the World. He has also been awarded as one of America’s Best Dentists for the past three years in a row. Dr. Williams has been featured on ABC’s Good Things Utah, KTALK radio and in several national dental research publications, including Dentistry Today and a peer-review expert for the Academy of General Dentistry’s General Dentistry journal.
Dr. Williams is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the Academy of Biomimetic Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Utah Dental Association. He has also been recognized as one of the most influential dentists in Utah by Kleer’s list of Most Influential Dentists in America.

Marcus Pope, DMD
Marcus grew up in both Bountiful, Utah and then Chicago, Illinois. He developed a passionate devotion to the Bulls and Chicago style hot dogs and deep dish pizza. He served a two year mission for the LDS church in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
He attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies, where he met and married the love of his life, Turia. They lived in Richmond, Virginia where Marcus attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University graduating in 2008. They then moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for his dental residency. Along the way they welcomed three spirited and adventurous children into the world.
The Pope family enjoyed the beaches, forests and wild blackberries of Washington State for many years while Marcus practiced dentistry with Kaiser Permanente. When the opportunity presented itself in 2018, they decided to return to Utah to be closer to family and the mountains they love best.
They now live in Heber City, where they love to mountain bike, backpack, garden, read good books and host really loud dance parties.
