Tyler Williams, DDS
“I love dentistry! It is such a privilege to help people look and feel great. We look forward to providing care that changes lives, replaces pain with comfort, and gives our wonderful patients more confidence in their smile and their health.”
Dr. Williams continually explores the field of dentistry. He completes over 75 hours of continued training each year, 60 more than required for licensure.
After graduating from the University of Utah, Dr. Williams entered the School of Dentistry at Virginia Commonwealth University and earned his DDS degree. Dr. Williams enjoys biking, sporting events, reading, and spending time with his wife and two children. Throughout the year, he volunteers his time, giving back to the community as a volunteer dentist for Salt Lake Donated Dental Services and Give Kids a Smile, programs that provide free services for the homeless and indigent.
Ericka Smith, DMD
“Making someone smile can change the world. Maybe not the whole world, but their world. Dentistry allows me to be a part of making those smiles. I love being able to see the confidence and relief that comes with a happy and healthy smile.”
Dr. Smith received her degree in biology from Southern Utah University. She then went out to Portland to attend dental school at Oregon Health & Science University where she earned her DMD degree. Upon graduation she returned to Utah to begin her career. Dr. Smith loves sewing, being outside, swimming or any activity involving water, and curling up with a good book.
After graduating Judge Memorial Catholic High School in 2011 I began school at SLCC to complete my generals so that I can soon begin hygiene school. I spent a lot of time since graduating helping at Salt Lake Donated Dental, where I discovered my love for the dental field. As I work at Pinecrest as the scheduling coordinator I will focus on the schedule and making sure there is plenty of time for each of our patients to have the best one on one experience possible!
After spending almost 5 years working as a marriage and family therapist in a variety of settings, I decided it was time to venture down a new career path. I’ve always dreamed of working in the dental field and here I am living that dream at Pinecrest Dental. I’m one of those people who loves going to the dentist and I’m committed to caring for my teeth. As the financial coordinator, I’m here to assist you in understanding the financial options available to you for keeping your smile healthy and beautiful. During my free time, I enjoy running and doing paper crafts such as book binding and making greeting card. Most importantly I enjoy being with my family as much as possible. I look forward to meeting you!
I graduated from Weber State in 2016 with my bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. I had the opportunity to go on a humanitarian dental mission to an orphanage in Guatemala and I hope to be able to go on more trips in the future! I am the oldest of three girls in my family, and all my family will soon be in Utah. I love dogs and especially my puppy back home named Nutty, and the name fits her well! Outside of work, I love watching movies, boating, being outside, and playing volleyball. I have loved all my time spent in the dental field and look forward to many more years giving all of my patients a healthy and bright smile. I love working with the amazing team at Pinecrest Dental, and I love being a hygienist!
I am a native Virginian, and a Pre-Dental student at Brigham Young University. I started out as a Pinecrest Dental intern, and recently, I was offered a position as an Assistant. I’m loving it! In the next few years, I plan on applying to Dental School. I have a passion for helping and understanding others, and I look forward to work because I get to meet so many incredible people and see their smiles transform. I love exercising, being outdoors, and driving with the windows down. I’m also food’s #1 fan, so when I’m not thinking about dental work I’m usually thinking about what’s for dinner.
I am currently a student at the University of Utah. I plan to major in Biology, Psychology, and minor in Spanish. I became interested in the dental field since high school because I loved the thought of helping others have a confident smile. I plan on pursuing my education to become a dentist one day. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and watching movies.
